Below is a link to a webinar that I recorded with Dave Hermansen who’s an expert at developing profitable ecommerce stores, however he does this through dropshipping, which is a lot like affiliate marketing, in that you don’t handle any stock.
Dave has experienced a lot of success doing ecommerce and has sold stores for $173,000, which was a birdcage store, and also another for $149,000 which was selling baseball pitching machines, and the list goes on and on. He’s very good at quickly developing stores and getting them up to $5000 a month profit.

There are a variety of them depending what country you live in.
Heya Matt, nice webinar.
Tell me, what sort of platforms do you recommend for eCommerce if you’ve not got much experience with programming etc? Basically the closest thing to a “turnkey” ecommerce site.
I reckon eCommerce seems like a winner of an idea, simply because your customers are getting something tangible in exchange for their money – a little bit different to an eBook where you’re trying to sell value.

Well I use WP Ecommerce (WordPress) myself, as its very easy, but there are other options of course, but WordPress is very easy.

And you just install this as a regular plugin I assume? Do you need any expensive payment processing accounts?

yes its a plugin, and all you need is a payment gateway service, its all pretty easy.
