Hey Patrick,
Great to hear that you are developing some pretty cool products there. To answer you question I am not sure if you mean affiliate marketing for your products, ie, getting affiliates on board, or affiliate marketing yourself. If you are aiming to recruit affiliates then make sure that you pay a good enough commission structure so that PPC affiliates can be profitable. The problem with a lot products is that they payout to low and make it tough for PPC affiliates.
Keen to hear how you get on with this.
Have a great day

Wanted to show my appreciation for the video series by purchasing XsitePro through your link, but couldn’t find it on your blog. So off I go to one of your videos to get it. Loved your simple explanations and calming presentation style. Hope there’s more coming……like “the architecture” of a complete IM business. For those of us who want to join the ranks of the successful IMers, what are all of the pieces and how do they all fit together?

Matt, those videos were outstanding! Thank you for creating those. I really enjoyed them. I am getting into online marketing and am trying to be an affiliate for something I found on ClickBank. For those of us getting started, do you recommend to be an affiliate for someone else first, or should I come up with my own product and get affiliates to help me get the word out? I have a full time job, so which path should I take to make money (based on my limited time)? Wow, I guess that sounds greedy, I apologize! I just don’t want to waste my time, especially if you know if one way is better than the other!
Thanks for any advice or insight you could provide. Again, those videos were awesome!!

Hey Chris,
great to hear from you. Hard question to answer, normally I would say go for Clickbank as an affiliate because product creation can be hard work. However with that said with the new Niche Profit Classroom out by my good friends Alen and Adam I tend to recommend their style more these days. Infact my own brother is getting into online marketing (finally!!!) and I am putting him through that course. You can access for $1 for a 7 day trial that I negotiated with Alen yesterday infact if you want, as regular public can’t get in for that price: here the page http://www.npcexclusive.com
You don’t have to do that though I honestly don’t mind, just trying to help you. Whatever you do if you are working full time you really must out source a lot of the tasks, so that you can move along quickly, because otherwise your progress will be slower.
Look forward to seeing how you go!!!

Hey Matt,
Great VIdeo’s I had a couple of questions for you.
1) Do you know of any good CPA programs to join that take the newbie step by step into a profit zone.
2) What do you think doing a Affiliate program through building a website VS. doing a CPA affiliate which do you think is better and what are the pro’s and con’s of each.
Thanks so much for the help I am just getting started and have wasted alot of money on so called programs that just sell alot of hype.

Hi Alen,
Its hard to say what is better, because they both have good and bad points.
CPa offers can be easier to get a conversions because the customers doesn’t have to pay upfront, however these offers do come and go, so if you are doing SEO that can be a problem. However PPC works well.
I have some info coming out soon on CPA training which is pretty cool

Hi Matt
I have been trying to take in everything in my emails. I have an account with Clinkbank, Google and a domain I had with Hostgator I had fogotten about. I felt I was getting an overload of information from everyone. So I resumed your lessons and it’s becoming much clearer. My advice to newbees is to concentrate on the basics in your traffic blogs and lessons, it’s to easy to get overwhelmed and loose sight of where you ought to be. Hi Matt
I watched your first video in the 12 vid series and was pleasantly impressed. I’ve been trying to get into affiliate marketing and find my biggest frustration is productivity. I find it very difficult to concentrate on one thing at a time; especially when I have other marketers such as Mark L. emailing me links to various training and product material. It’s all usually very good, but when you only have limited hours to get anything done, I find most of it is spent reading email and watching training videos. Mate… what do you do? Just another form of analysis paralysis I guess.
Anyway, I’m still going to work through your training and hopefully put it into practice.
Cheers
Kev.
P.S. I’ve unsubscribed to many of the marketing gurus, because I’m basically getting nowhere even with all their material.

Hi Kevin,
You need to start taking action and that way you will learn as you go, and soon work out what is going to work for you and what is not.
Some times you have to resist any new product that comes out and just stay focused on one thing until you get somewhere with it
Like maybe learn everything you can about SEO and link building, until you have the skill to rank the keywords you want.
Take care

Hi Zenji,
If you are getting traffic and no sales then it can be a few things.
1.) the keywords you are getting traffic from are not BUYER keywords, but are people who are info seekers. Buyer keywords are things like: product name review, the people who type this into a search engine have done their research and are almost ready to buy, that is where they MUST find your site.
2.) You copy on your page isn’t doing its job. Make sure you do NOT sell to people in your copy. your role as the affiliate is an unbiased but positive recommendation. If you come across as pushy sales person, you will not make sales.
Cheers

Hey Matt,
How goes it?
I listened with great interest to the interview you conducted with Lisa Parmley.
She sounds like the genuine article & certainly “knows her onions” when it comes to SEO.
Based on what I heard including your endorsement, I purchased her InlineSEO course through your link.
Almost worth the price of the course for the free .EDU links you threw in.
Anyway, I have recently created & uploaded many WordPress sites most of which are optimised for AdSense only.
All these sites have been created using a supplied theme with me following instructions from a proven process.
Although I can build a WordPress site, I really haven’t built one unaided.
Can you recommend a source for learning enough about WordPress so I can setup WordPress in line with Lisa’s optimisation plans??

Matt,
First of all, thank you very much for your free video course.
I am a seasoned programmer with over 20 years of experience. What sets me apart from the rest of the techies is the fact that I am a firm believer in marketing and advertizing. I am by no means an expert but I do have a strong interest in it. I must say that advertizing on the Internet should not even be called advertizing! I say that because it’s so much different than traditional advertizing that someone out there should come up with a new word for it!
Anyway, my wife has a brick and mortar store, and finally, about 6 months ago I developed a web site for her (the shoe maker’s sons walk around barefoot). Now came time to promote her site and I had no idea what to do. We played around with some Adwords campaigns and we did see some traffic increase. I even purchased an SEM (Search Engine Marketing) course in order to better promote my wife’s web site!
Well, your free course was a major eye opener. Even though you are focusing on affiliate marketing, there is a lot of content that also applies to good old standard internet marketing and search engine optimization. You even got me interested in affiliate marketing which I had tried about 7 years ago with some very modest results. Thank you very much for your very informative course.
Lastly, I see that you are promoting on your site two different affiliate marketing courses. What is the difference between them?
Thank you
Joseph

Recent health issues and the collapse of the housing market have forced me to find a business that I can run from my home. I was fortunate enough to learn about the opportunities as an Affiliate Marketer and I have frantically been trying to learn enough to get started. There have been a few really great people, like yourself, that have shown an earnest interest in teaching and helping other people. Unfortunately, there are many that just want the money and lead you down a dead end street. I am committed to being successful and am so grateful that you have taken the time to help me along the way.

Matt,
Your opinion please. I am searching for keywords and one “guru'” who is very successful says to find micro-niches with a search count of 1000 and an exact phrase count under 10,000. which seems to make sense, but for the life of me I cannot find any worthwhile niches that meet that criteria. The exact phrase count seems way too low, most of my results are at least 10 times that amount.
FYI, I use Market samurai and Micro Niche finder

Hey Dickm,
I am not quite sure what you mean, but I will have a go, from what I think you might mean.
First you have said this:
“….niches with a search count of 1000 and an exact phrase count under 10,000…”
It doesn’t make sense to me, what had a search volume of 1000? the keywords? and if so why have you then stated exact match 10,000??
At the end of the day if you want to make money you need BUYER keywords, forget the rest for now (see my other posts for more on buyer keywords). With buyer keywords you only need search volume of 800+ a month to make money on them. Get half a dozen of these and get your pages ranking in position 1 in Google and if you have a decent site you will make money.
That’s all there is to it, the key is learning SEO or PEO to get the traffic.
Hope that helps
Matt

Hi Matt,
I like very much the content you offer and I do appreciate everything you do.
I have a question.
Your RapidRewriter has ONLY 5 addresses for submitting an article?
Why so little?!
Matt Callen has one for 10 another one for 20 and one program that has 1600.
What is the point to buy your software?
Best,

Hi Matt,
After using the rapid rewriter for less than a week I now realise what I have been missing for the past 3 years. I have been able to do 2 weeks worth of articles in a matter of days.AND had 2 sales from it.
Thanks so much Matt.
I do have one request though maybe for an update for the rewriter to have the facility when writing alternative sentences for inputting buttons etc as I have had issues with Ezine articles over repeated content even though all of the articles are all different.
They seem to think buttons change the content somehow?
I’m sure this would also help others too in the future.
Many thanks again Matt

Is there any way you could have a way to increase the font size both in the text box for the article to be spun and the text boxes for the alternate sentences. I have trouble reading both for various reasons. It would be extremely helpful if I could increase the font size. Thanks.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Matt
Thanks so much as I have been following your course, you make it really easy to follow. Must say I made a mess of it last night, as I set up a wordpress page through fantastico in host gator but could not get in to admin to see anything so removed and tried to redo it. Mistake all is gone. Can I just load wordpress manually through filezilla.
Cheers for the profitsinstuments mail, I bought it today and will be straight onto it, where do the bonuses come into it.
Sorry im a real Newbee

Hi Matt
This may be a funny question but I am very weiry about these things. Just had a guy called Charles Johnson supposed John Carters partner in Rapid Income Creator call me here in NZ inviting me to be a part of a campaign launch July 1st fully supported. Why I would be asked is beyond me as I am just starting in IM. I would need to come up with 5-10k deposit for advertising of the e-books.
It is through RIC, what do you think.

How do I send Matt an email? I took advantage of the NPC 3.0 offer and don’t know how to contact him to send him a receipt to access the bonuses.

Hi Matt,
What is it with Ozzies blazing an IM trail at the moment! Good to see – keep it up!
Anyway, just a small, tiny, suggestion if I may? With RapidRewriter, when you spin a word at the beginning of a sentence, is it possible to get the words capitalised as the original word was? I’m finding that I am having to go back through the document and capitalise not only the new synonym but the original word that was already capitalised.
Cheers,
Michelle

Dear Matt,
I am a newbie at all of this. I wanted to know if it is possible to work the affiliate program along with a Network program? I wanted to use the effiliate to send to my Wife’s site and cash in on that as well. Do you think it might work?
Hey! Check out her site, http://www.Discoverllimu,com/cjgower as I understand it, this is New In your area.

G’Day Matt,
My name is Jon, i’m fresh out of uni and have recently started affiliate marketing with Mark Ling’s Affiloblueprint course.
Feel free to checkout my site so far: http://www.clickfitpro.com. With my basic site in place I am now beginning my backlinking through your backlinking blueprint course – really cool stuff but so much to learn! Anyway, my question is regarding SEO Quake page rank not showing up (n/a) on ALL the sites I check. This is really hindering my progress through your course and was wondering if you yourself have experienced this and know of a solution. I have checked Google for answers (delete cache etc..) but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Jon.

Hey Jon
You need to make sure you don’t use SEO quake too heavily otherwise Google will stop giving you the PR figures and you will get n/a.
What i do is set the number of sites in the Google results to 50, and also try and wait a few mins, longer the better, before I search again.
This seems to work for me and my team
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt, I am enjoying the videos and the re-writing software looks great as I’m nearly at that stage. I heard you say that you started out in ultra competitive niches and it was painful. I think I’ve done just that after signing up to Wealthy affiliate and then being an affiliate for them. Shall I cut my loss and move on or just push for those long tail keywords until I make headway? Cheers – John, Auckland, NZ.

Hi Matt,
I am so glad I have found your site. It is one of the very few times that I have felt that here was a place you could learn from and trust, without worrying about the fact that you were going to be constantly sold to, like so many other places do. Congratulations for that.
I look forward to your 12 video series and actually getting something up and running this time. Awesome!!!
All the best
Greg in Brisbane.

G’Day Matt,
Thankyou for your reply a few posts back – really appreciate it. I just have a quick follow-up question regarding your backlink blueprint: Once i’ve left my link, should I always bookmark it to help google find it? I’ve found some really great links (thanks to you) but I dont know whether google finds them or not…Is there somewhere I can find out or another method aside from bookmarking?
Thankyou very much for any help, Jon.
I am still following your backlink blueprint and am progressing well.
