Eric Lancheres Interviews Me!

Hi folks,

SEO expert and good friend of mine Eric Lancheres recorded an interview with me the other day for his list and provided the recording for me to share with you all. The interview was all about my new course E Wealth Blueprint and exactly what its all about and how I make great money with such little traffic with my new strategy.

I highly encourage you to watch the reply now, as I provide some juicy secrets in there.

One of the coolest things about my new strategy that I teach in the course is that these sites don’t need much traffic to make good money.

My best site now makes over $10,000 USD a month and gets only 350 visitors a day. However another site was making me $2000 and only getting 30-40 visitors day! I explain in the interview with Eric how these figures are possible.

Also Eric has just agreed to provide a special bonus of his Secret Sauce SEO II course, for anyone who buys E Wealth Blueprint this week only before the launch special discount expires on 22nd Jan at midnight.

I would like to ask where do you find the people to sell the leads to? is there a central resource for this or do you have to contact individual business owners?

    Hi Matt,

Do you have to call business owners to make this work and is it possible to provide leads to a business in the US when you live in a country outisde US? I live in Denmark

I have considered doing local lead generation for some time, but have not been able to find a course that shows you how to do it right.

    Thanks,
    Morten

You can do it in the US, I do and I live in New Zealand. Also you might be able to do it without calling companies, but I have never tired, I just pick up the phone and chat, its a very easy conversation to have as ALL businesses want leads so you’ll find people are very open to the idea…you just say there’s no commitment, just give it a try for a week or so and see how it goes…etc…

Its not hard, you could try do it over email if you like, I just never bother, I prefer to call.

Sounds very real, a few questions…

    1. Given business owners are so cheap, and so skeptical in today’s economic climate, how tough is it to get them on board?

    2. If 30-40 daily visitors works, they are obviously very targeted, how are you getting these “top notch” visitors?

    3. I assume you are invoicing clients after the fact, therefore how difficult is it to get paid for the leads (considering there is no automatic payment mechanism in place)?

    Matt Carter Reply:

    .
    .
    Hi

    1. That’s a wild generalization…who told you that? The fact that some economies are tough is a good thing as business NEED more customers anyway.

    2. Google

    3. Not hard, they know if they don’t pay you will stop the leads, so you have full control. Invoice weekly, if they don’t pay, which I have never had by the way, then stop the leads and send to someone else.

    Hi Matt
I was wondering if you know if the recent google changes are also penalizing lead generation websites the same way it has been hurting affiliate marketing websites?
    Thanks!

    Matt Carter Reply:

    .
    .
    Hi

The short answer is no, but let me explain…

Google Panda – this is where Google thinks you have a poor quality site and they penalize you. One of the main factors behind this is having a high bounce rate. Affiliate sites rely on sending people away from their sites to make money…which gets them in trouble with Google as it makes them see low quality.

Lead gen sites get around this as they don’t send the traffic away from the site, it all happens on the site, so the bounce rate is low…

On top of that what I cover in the course is up to date with Google Penguin also, so you are in good hands.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Matt,

you say you have to call the busines owners to try generate the leads, what is the average success of clients aggreeing to the promotion, i would tend to think alot of the them shoot you down and turn you down.

    Hey Peter

Well thats not a good assumption, I find most of them are super keen, as these are HIGHLY qualified leads, so they convert very well, not like stupid Yellow pages or Radio ads…this is a person wanting to be called back…..anyway I find the response good, and all do is tell them they can try the leads for a week for free…honestly its easy mate!

    All the best

    Hi Matt,

Was just checking out this call. This sounds like a good service I can cross sell to my existing local clients.

Being that copy is a big influence in conversion I have two questions:

    1. The copy of the landing page obviously influences conversion greatly. Do you provide the copy you used or copy samples?

    2. If using Adwords do you talk about the copy of the ads?

    Thanks!

    Craig

    Matt Carter Reply:

    Hi Craig

    1. I do talk about conversion and copy in the course, but I might add another video now that you mention this.

    2. I am adding an adwords video next week for members, and yes I will talk about ad copy in that.

    Hope that helps

    Matt

    Hey Matt!

Ya that helps a lot. I wasn’t sure how in depth you went. As you probably know a lot of courses seem to exclude ALL the details that went into the success of the campaigns and many of the small ‘minor’ details contribute much to the overall success. IMO that’s why most (but not all) are unable to fully duplicate it and have success. So, thanks!
Knowing that you’re adding that, I’m going make the purchase.

    Thanks Mate!

Hey Matt, Thanks for inviting me to listen to that audio stream, very enlightening!
Before I buy this I need to know one point pl, because I tried sth very similar some years ago and miserably failed trying to get contracts with business owners! (yeah right, bet you’re thinking ‘she must be an idiot then’…)

Seriously pl, TO WHAT EXTENT are you/your videos/your ‘blueprint’ helping us with HOW to contact businesses in a way that is successful in setting up a contract on buying leads from us? How to speak to them etc.?

Thanks again for this fantastic audio, like this much more than always webinars/videos…. You have a nice voice too 😉

    Matt Carter Reply:

    .
    Hi Mandy

I have provided a video of exactly what I say when I call business owners up. Its all about the way you explain it really. I honestly dont find it hard at all.

As for contracts, you don’t need to make it that complicated, just keep it simple, you send the leads, they pay once a week. If they don’t pay, which is highly unlikely, then you stop the leads, so you have full control this way, no need for contracts in my opinion.

When you talk to businesses you just tell them they can try the leads for free for a week, and that there is no commitment needed from them…and that you want a win win for you and them, so everyone makes money, like a partnership…its hard for someone to turn that down!

    Lewis Reply:

Although extremely interested I am really put off by the need to speak to, and persuade clients to sign up. Why? Simply I am really crap at that type of thing and however good the script I do not have the skill or confidence to win over a client.

I compensate by working my butt off in areas where I do have skills so I guess my question is do you think an email approach would generate any success.

Is there any difference between your course and the monthly membership that you offer? I mean, does the membership have the same info on lead gen as this course?

How long on average would you expect us to get enough Google rank for say 30 visits? I know it depends upon how competitive the niche is, but wouldn’t you already need to be on page one of Google in order to sell your product? Do you talk about competition in your course?

Also, do you talk about the type of niches that would be most suitable to target? So many local businesses come up under an agency like http://www.truelocal.com.au in Australia… you’d have to compete with them, wouldn’t you?

say i was going after a niche like “painters dc” and there is 1000 searches for that a month. I could write one article on my site with that title, but as far as a lot of articles it would not work. would it matter if i i wrote articles like “foe painter in dc” “decorative painters in dc” “what to look for in painters in dc” as you can see i am throwing the word “in into the article because that is natural English, would that effect my rankings when i try to rank for my main keyword?

Also I just wanted to throw this out to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this course, this course is awesome!!! Matt walks you step by step through the whole process, and as far as getting clients to buy your leads that really is easy, i gave it a test run to try before building my site and all i did was send an email to people off of craigslist and i had about 40-50% of them jumping all over it, business are hungry for more customers.
