Hi Matt,

I have a lot of backlinks created on forum profiles, these forums generally have high PR and found them by searching through google. But, I seem to have a problem getting the links recognized and indexed by search engines. I read it in other blogs that it takes up to months to get them indexed by search engines without me doing anything about it. But, I also read about the use of RSS Feeds and submit it to Feed sites where it would help in getting the links indexed. Although I got the idea of submitting RSS feeds, I sure do not know how to do it and what services should I be using for it.

However, it seems that I found some great content here. I am trying out what you said about the RSS Feed stuff, and yeah, you really know what you are doing about these kind of stuff Thank you for the wonderful article.

All the Best,
Grant Guard

Hey Spunky

Thanks for a great comment there, and about RSS...well to be honest I am starting to doubt the effectiveness of RSS links, I wouldn't get to concerned about them, as they don't have much effect really, but they do add to the overall link structure and make it look more natural I guess.

Thanks

I pay close attention to on page SEO, especially on a brand new website that I am launching. It is important to start off with a good foundation.

I don't always optimize my new sites for Google. I break it up a bit among the top three search engines, Google, Yahoo and Bing. It really depends on the competition for the keywords and niche. I would rather be on the main page of Yahoo for a keyword that will deliver me 500 targeted visitors per day, than on the 4th and 5th page of Google for the same term. If the search term delivers 1,500 visitors to the main page of Google, I am sure not to get many visitors if I am past the 3rd page for search results.

I would like to learn more about RSS. I hear quite a few things about it being good to build backlinks and get some extra targeted traffic.

Do you have any more information about, RSSBOT ?

Hi Matt,

I do enjoy the content that you put together and find it most useful.

I had a question regarding RSS aggregators and backlinks. If a post feed has been passed to a RSS aggregator, say feedage.com, then any links on that feed would be backlinks back to the site. This is true as I have found the links.

However, after a period of time should you be able to use say Yahoo SIte Explorer to check for the links and see them displayed. This would prove that the backlinks had been indexed and therefore useful for backlinking purposes.

Regards

Hi Dmitriy,

Great to hear you are getting some good results! It is best to add links regularly and consistently, but you can build more than 30-50 a day, but if you don't have to then don't. Only do what is needed.

Good stuff!

Hi Matt,

I wanted to thank you for this post. By using this strategy I moved from the 2nd page to the top position on the first page in a few hours.
However I am still a newbie and would like to know how many backlinks should I add daily???
If not daily than can a do a bunch in one day 30-50 and than come back the next day and add another 30-50? Will this have more effect than adding a few backlings every day???

Hi Mitch,

I was meant to get around to trying out free traffic system but as of yet I have not done so, so I can not comment. Article Marketing Automation, it is a good way to get on topic links in bulk, and that can help you rankings. But the links are not high page rank, all mostly PR 0 but its the numbers that help

Hi Matt,

I was wondering if you know about Free Traffic System, if it’s any good for building back links if it’s worth the time. Or would it be better to just pay for AMA article marketing automation, does that do a better job?

Thanks,
Mitch

RSS aggregators are the best way to build backlinks. There is a software called RSS web traffic genius by Tim Buchalka, that damn thing can post to 20 aggregators per post! That's 20 links per post spread all over the Internet.
